Character Information
[/u][/center]Name » Siren
Alias » Siren <,,<
Gender » Mare
Age » Three
Height » 15hh
Appearance » Obviously of arabian descent, Siren is a small mare, built for elegant strides and for quick leaps in random directions. For such a little mare, standing at a scrawny 15.2 hands high, she's quite the feisty little horse, and is surprisingly strong. Her legs are built for speed and turning on a dime, and all of Siren's squabbles in the past have kept her lean and fit. She has very deep-set grey eyes, which give her a mysterious and sometimes intimidating look. Her pelt is a soft-looking dappled grey, and her mane and tail are blonde, for lack of a better word.
Personality » Siren is a very hot-blooded and temperamental mare. She lives for risky situations, sneaking around, and, of course, fights. Don't think of Siren as the bitchy type, though, because she has a soft spot for some things. She's very compassionate when it comes to foals, mostly because of how she was treated at that age. Siren is the kind of mare who can get very easily irritated, though, and when Siren gets set off, there's no stopping her until she's gotten all of her rage out in the open. She's not the type who keeps things inside, either. Siren wears her heart on her sleeve, so to speak, and she's not afraid to show how she feels.
History » Siren had two older sisters in her birth herd. One of them was a year older and was bred from her parents. The oldest was a half sibling, who had a different sire than the other two. Siren looked up to her older sisters, and watched them very closely when she was young. Siren unfortunately didn't have very strong connections with her parents or her siblings. She was more or less beaten around by her siblings and some of the young colts in her herd, and sooner or later she decided that enough was enough. She felt very alone in the world, and at one point wanted nothing to do with anyone, and therefore became very quiet and reserved. Her rage boiled up inside, and she was too afraid to fight back for a long, long time. After she had grown up a little, out of her yearling stage, she met a young filly much like her who had recently been accepted into her birth herd. This filly also had very few friends, and this brought she and Siren together.
They had become best friends, in a way, and trusted each other to protect the other from harm. This friendship didn't last long, though, because one fateful evening, a pack of wolves snuck into the lands claimed by Siren's birth herd, and began killing off smaller horses. The following morning, two yearlings, three foals, and Siren's best friend had been killed. Siren swore from then on that she wouldn't become that attached to anyone ever again, because she never again wanted to feel the hurt that she did that day. Siren became stronger, and put all of her love into her ego rather than into other horses' friendships, or the love of her family, who still didn't want much to do with her at this point. Siren felt exiled in her birth herd, therefore she made the decision to leave it, searching for a place where she could be happy, free, and accepted.
