† A f t e r l i f e †Character Information
Name » Afterlife
Alias » Aftie, After
Gender » Stallion
Age » 4
Height » 15.3hh
Appearance » Standing at a handesome 15.3 hands high, Afterlife is neither the shortest nor the tallest horse. He carries more after the mustang side of his family, with a surprisingly heavy head, a shorty neck and a stocky body. The only real reason he has any muscles at all is from constant walking around. He is never still. His body is covered in a light bay pelt, almost a dun in colour. Black mane falls to about mid shoulder on his and his tail almost drags the ground. His legs are black as well, along with the tips of his ears. On his right shoulder he has an upside-down black heart. The oddest thing about Afterlife is that he has no eyes. He is completely and utterly blind.
Personality » Afterlife is a sweet, quiet horse. He isnt a leader in anyway and perfers to take orders rather than give them. He keeps to himself, thinking that no one will want to ever hang out with the blind oddity of Nadek. He doesnt hold himself in a very high opinion; he hates what happened to him. Nearly no one in the herd knows his true past; he had kept it hidden from all of them but a few he can trust. He is often being teased and therefore stays away from almost everyone in Nadek. His favoured place to hang out is in Azure Forest and will often be found there just standing and staring sightlessly around. He doesnt believe he will ever find a mare who loves him and therefore never flirts. He doesnt like talking and will try and find a way out of being spoken to. Though, if a horse was to come up to him and describe what was happening around him, Afterlife would talk to that horse for a while.
History » Born in the loner lands, Afterlife's parents were two normal horses who feel heels over head in love with one another. They 'courted' for a few months then finally bred together. Sadly, she miscarried and the foal was born dead. This was not Afterlife.
A few months later, long enough for them to get over the sadness, they bred again. The same thing happened once more. The colt was a light bay in hue, a mix of the father, who was dark bay, and the mother, who was palmino. The colt was buried at Nomad Hill and forgotten about. His parents stopped breeding after this and died about a year after his birth/death.
Here is where Aftie's story picks up. His spirit ascended into heaven at his birth. The angels up there took pity on him, hating that he had died so young. They also felt pity for his parents, having lost two foals and dying so young. In order to try and make up for what was lost, they decided to give Afterlife a second chance. He was christened with the name Afterlife, so he would forever remember who had given him life again.
For the next seven years, he was trained how to survive, tested in heaven where he could not be killed. The young horse passed every test that was given to him by the angels. He looked to be a wonderful leader. After seven years of being in heaven, he was going to be allowed to return to his home, to return to Nadek. However, there was a catch. He would be going back blind. In exchange for a second chance, the angels took his sight and eyes away.
He was sent back in the body of a three-year old, arriving back at Nomad Hill. He slid around, spreading the story that he had been attacked and had lost his eyes. He isnt sure how many horses believe him, but his story hasnt been questioned yet. As of now, he is living in Nomad Hill, but will likely pick a herd to join soon.[/blockquote]
